About Us

Our Story

The Me of MeMi is Megan. Megan is a Women’s wear designer, the owner and co-founder of MeMi Collective. She graduated with a diploma in Fashion Arts from John Casablancas and has been sewing since childhood.

The Mi of MeMi is dedicated to Miranda. Miranda is founder and designer of Whistle & Flute Clothing, a brand of unisex, fashion forward clothes for families. She is an original founding partner of MeMi  but has since moved on to focus on her family and Whistle & Flute. MeMi Collective wouldn't be what it is today without her passion and influence.

Our Philosophy

We are into slow fashion. Clothes that don’t go out of style and are not mass produced.

Designs that are simple and classic and look put together whether you’re at home, the park with your kids or out with the girls.

Clothing for living. Have fun, move and then throw it in the washer and not worry about it.

We want our clothes to have a conscience. Fabric made of sustainable materials and manufactured ethically and locally in Canada.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that MeMi Collective's offices are located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the T'sou-ke Nation of the Coast Salish peoples. We respect the land and honour this tradition of land acknowledgment that dates back centuries. With this acknowledgment we thank those Indigenous people who still live on and care for these lands.
